Rhwyg

‘Rhwyg’ began as a series of digital collages of complex interiors listening to Eliane Radigue and Eiko Ishibashi. I envisaged these pieces projected on a large scale, which then developed into the idea of moving into and around the images. While experimenting with this, the piece of music I found myself coming back to was Angharad Davies’ ‘Solo Violin and Four Bass Amps’, and from there, this collaboration has been a back and forth response between the two of us. Both image and music refer to the searching for meaning and stability in the face of a world, at best, unstable, at its worst, brutal and tragic.
